As we enter into the last days, we will see a rise in government control and corruption in society. By using the law government will impose its will and take what it wants. At the same time there will be increasing lawlessness in our neighbourhoods and streets. Only the true church will be able to make a stand and resist this. Therefore, the demarcation between repetitive lifeless church attendance and the true Christian life, will become ever more stark.

Jesus promised us not just life but abundant life and His divine power has granted us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of Christ. He also said that out of our hearts would flow rivers of living water.  We must stop being content with just a gentle stream.

In order to access this life, we will be required to embrace death to self. To the degree that we don't deny self and take up the cross, will be the degree that we stop following Jesus and come off the path of life.

The world desperately needs to see the reality of God's abundant resurrection life flowing through and out of His people. Let us determine to give to the world the reality of Christ and not just boring religion.
